Installing it

  1. Open the downloaded disk image. A window opens with Weave Player in it.
  2. Drag Weave Player onto the Applications folder beside it.
  3. Open it from Applications. Because the app is notarized by Apple, it launches right away.
  4. Eject the disk image; you can delete the download afterward.

Dragging out of the disk image is what clears the download quarantine, so automatic updates work from the first launch.

Updates arrive by themselves from then on: Weave Player checks quietly, and you can also ask any time from Weave Player › Check for Updates.
